Here are a few tips that has helped me get more done each day while taking care of errands and other tasks at home. First you must prioritize your work. Make a list of the things that has to be completed immediately and then put the rest off for another day.

Schedule your time for mornings, afternoons and evenings. Decide when you will take time to complete household chores and cook meals. Also don’t forget to take naps. You will find that time management is easier when you have a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.

Set your goals for the week.- remember you want to be flexible just in case something comes up that you were not expecting. Each day of the week can be transferrable for instance if you set your time to complete your book writing on Monday but it may require adjustments as time goes on.

Productivity skills work best with a time table

Decide what time each day you will complete your online work, will it be in the morning when you first wake up or will it be in the evening before you go to bed. Often times the middle of the day is best saved for the times you need to leave the house or get shopping and cleaning done.

Fit your schedule to the times you have the most energy, as the day goes on you will find that some of the times you will feel tired or sleepy while other times of the day you will feel wide awake and ready to get lots of writing done.

Use audio books for researching content you want to use later. Compile lists of ideas on a piece of paper, write down the things you want to finish doing that day. Although you may not complete your list, you will still get more done if you have a plan of action.

In conclusion:

Each day you will want to set goals, Once you have your daily schedule you will want to pick a time that will work best for your energy levels. Be flexible for completed tasks and ones that will take more than one day to complete.

Priortize your work by how fast or slow each work load will take, if it can be done in a few hours than put it for later in the day when you have completed the more challenging jobs on your to do list.
